From the article citation, find the title of the journal in which it appears. You can then find out if the journal is refereed by looking it up in Ulrichsweb database. 

Ulrichsweb is accessible from the Library home page under More Search optionsDatabases by Title.

When you are using Library Search, you can use the "Show only" limiter on the right of your results and choose "Peer-reviewed Journals".
