Advanced Search allows you to set custom search parameters before searching, generally resulting in a more relevant set of results than those provided by the the basic search.

To get to Advanced Search from the library homepage:

  • locate the Library Search box on the homepage, click Search to get to the next page
  • select the Advanced Search link on the right of the white search box
  • this will take you to the Advanced Search screen where you can limit your search, prior to searching, to words within the title, author, or subject you are looking for. You can also specify the publication date, resource type and and/or language of your search results.
