Unfortunately no. This is to protect students who may have lost their student card or had their wallet stolen.  Library staff have no way of knowing whether the person in possession of the card actually does have authority to use it.   We will only permit use of  another student's card if the borrower has a signed letter from the card owner approving this. Proof of identification may also be required.
