Due to Copyright Act provisions, there are restrictions on the type of PDF documents that can be included in your eReading List.

The following PDF documents can be included in your reading list:

  • Document created by you
  • Document created by a previous unit coordinator

The following PDF documents should not be included in your reading list:

  • Document downloaded from a website
Instead, you should link to the item online.

  • Document downloaded from a database available through CQUniversity Library
Instead, you should link to the item in the database.

  • Document downloaded from a database available through another library/institution
Check if CQUniversity Library holds the item in its collection.
If it does, link to the item in the database.
If it doesn't, submit a digitisation request and the Library will source a copy that is copyright-compliant.
